At just 6 years old, Tigui Diamonds is quickly becoming one of the most exciting young talents in cue sports. The Atlanta-based billiards phenom recently became the youngest American pool player ever signed to a major sponsorship, partnering with Predator Group, the global leader in professional cue sports. Tigui’s remarkable talent is already drawing national attention. From Billiards Hall of Famer Jeanette Lee “The Black Widow,” to an appearance on Inside the NBA on ESPN, the tiny player with big-time focus and confidence on the table is reinvigorating the spirit of the game in the Culture.
Born in New Orleans and now living in Atlanta, Tigui spent 4.5 years growing up in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, where she became fluent in Spanish and developed an international perspective at a young age. Off the table, Tigui is also a well-rounded student athlete. She trains in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and gymnastics and is already academically advanced, nearly completing 3rd grade while excelling in several subjects. Despite her accomplishments, Tigui remains a joyful kid first. She is focused on playing, learning, and having fun, but her competitive drive is unmistakable. Those who watch her play often use the word “prodigy.” Not just because of talent, but because of her discipline, focus, and execution—qualities rarely seen at such a young age.
Tigui Diamonds is exactly the kind of fresh face the sport needs—an adorable, disciplined, brilliant young talent who represents the changing face of American Pool.
Her prowess on the table is reminiscent of a young Tiger Woods or Serena Williams. We could be witnessing the unprecedented rise of a cue sports global icon.
